EcomX
Terms of service
Last updated 27 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and EcomX Ecommerce Solutions (“EcomX”, “we”) for the use of ecomx.com.bd, the EcomX account at dash.ecomx.dev, the merchant panel, the shops we host, and our other services. By creating an account or paying for a plan you accept them.
Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your mobile number or email, so keep both current and in your control. You are responsible for everything done through your account and your shops’ panels, including by staff you give access to. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has got in.
Plans and billing
- Plans are paid in advance for the period you choose, monthly or yearly, in Bangladeshi taka.
- Each plan includes a monthly order allowance. Orders past it are never refused: each is charged at your plan’s per-order rate and added to your next renewal, or taken from your EcomX wallet.
- Plans do not renew by themselves: we remind you before yours ends, and you renew from your EcomX account. If it is not renewed, your shop keeps working for a short grace period and then closes until you renew. Your data is kept, and comes back with the plan.
- We may change prices for future periods. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we tell you before it applies to you.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
Your EcomX wallet
The wallet holds money you add to spend inside EcomX: domains and their renewals, add-ons, and orders over your allowance. It is not a bank account, earns nothing, and cannot be transferred to another account.
Domains
A domain you buy through EcomX is registered for you through our registrar, with WHOIS privacy, and set up to point at your shop. With auto-renew on, it is renewed from your wallet a month before it expires; if the wallet cannot cover the renewal we tell you, and a domain that is not renewed can lapse and be lost. If you want to move a domain to another provider, contact us and we will hand it over.
Your shop
Your shop, its products, prices, descriptions, delivery, returns and customer service are yours, and so are the policies you show your customers. You must have the right to sell what you list and to use the words and pictures you upload. Your customers’ details belong to your business: we store and process them only to run your shop for you, as described in our privacy policy.
One exception, shared by every shop and shown to every shop: delivery outcomes. When a parcel booked with a courier is accepted, refused or sent back after delivery, that outcome is added, with the customer’s phone number, to the delivery record behind EcomX’s Customer Quality score. Other shops see only the score and totals for a number — never your shop’s name, products or prices — and you see the same for your customers. You must not use the score to harass a customer or refuse service because of anything other than their delivery record.
What you may not do
- Sell anything that is illegal in Bangladesh or where you deliver, or that is counterfeit or stolen.
- Mislead or defraud customers, or take orders you do not intend to fulfil.
- Send messages people did not ask for, or use EcomX to attack, probe or overload any system.
- Try to get into another shop’s data, or resell EcomX without an agreement with us.
If a shop breaks these rules we may suspend it. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Keeping the service running
We work to keep EcomX available and your data safe, with backups every day, but no online service is free of interruptions. We are not responsible for the services of couriers, SMS and payment providers you connect, for sales you lose while a service is unavailable, or for indirect losses. Where the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using EcomX at any time by not renewing. Ask us and we will export your shop’s data for you, or delete it. We may end the agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Changes and law
If we change these terms we will post the new version here and tell you about significant changes before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
